Volunteer to be a Reviewer
You can volunteer to be a reviewer of education books for
Education Review in one or both of two ways:
- Email Gene Glass (glass@asu.edu) to be placed on a list of volunteers
for longer reviews of scholarly books in education, or email
Melissa Cast-Brede (mcast@mail.unomaha.edu)
to be placed on a list of potential
authors of briefer reviews of practitioner-oriented books.
- Subscribe to the EDREV LISTSERV where lists of books
needing review and calls for volunteers are periodically announced.
To subscribe to the EDREV LISTSERV, send an email letter to
listserv@asu.edu and make the one-line contents of the letter read as
follows:
SUB EDREV your-first-name your-last-name
- To leave the LISTSERV, address a letter to listserv@asu.edu
and make the one-line
contents read as follows:
UNSUB EDREV
- If you have difficulty either subscribing to or signing
off the EDREV LISTSERV, please contact
Gene V Glass at glass@asu.edu.
We can't guarantee that everyone who volunteers will receive the
opportunity to review a book; most available books are requested by
several potential reviewers. But we will try to spread the
privilege around.
Don't wait to be asked. If you have a new education book in hand
and wish to review it for Education Review, write to either Editor
Glass or Editor Cast-Brede and ask if we would entertain such a review for
publication.
