Author Biography

Evan D. Phillips, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign

Evan Phillips is a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana – Champaign working toward his EdD in Global Studies. In addition, he is an active duty military officer who has served nearly four years in the Pacific region in several capacities. As a result of his experiences in the region and with foreign militaries, he has developed a passion for bringing awareness to the numerous less-publicized concerns that affect many areas of the world.
