Author Biography

Sherman Dorn, Arizona State University

Sherman Dorn is an historian of education, focusing on the last 70 years of education policy in the United States. He has written about the history of education reform, test-based accountability, dropping out, and special education, among other topics. His current major project is the postwar history of educational broadcasting. Since 2014, he has been a professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University and director of the Division of Educational Leadership and Innovation.
