Edith J. Cisneros-Cohernour, Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán

Edith J. Cisneros-Cohernour es Profesora Investigadora de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, México. Recibió su grado de Doctorado en Ciencias (Ph.D.) de la University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign en diciembre de 2001. Durante 1995-2001 estuvo también afiliada al Center for Instructional Research and Curriculum Evaluation y a la National Transition Alliance for Youth with Disabilities de la Universidad de Illinois. Su investigación se centra en el mejoramiento de la calidad de la educación en las organizaciones educativas, especialmente en las áreas de desarrollo profesional y organizacional, y evaluación educativa. Asimismo, tiene un fuerte interés en metodología de investigación cualitativa, la enseñanza efectiva de estudiantes de diversa herencia étnica y cultural, y los aspectos éticos en evaluación e investigación.
