Jessica Lilian Andaya, Santa Ana High School California State University Fullerton

Jessica L. Andaya is a high school mathematics teacher at Santa Ana High School and current graduate student at California State University Fullerton. Her research interests focus on equity and social justice in high school mathematics classrooms. She teaches various levels of algebra and geometry courses to primarily bilingual students in a collaborative and technologically-driven classroom.

Alison S. Marzocchi, California State University Fullerton

Alison S. Marzocchi is an assistant professor in the Mathematics Department at California State University Fullerton. Her research interests focus on recruitment and retention of underrepresented students in postsecondary mathematics degrees. Alison prepares current and future teachers of all levels (elementary through college) for the challenging but rewarding demands of teaching in today’s schools. She is especially passionate about teaching mathematics for understanding such that all students learn. Before working at the university level, Alison was a high school mathematics and computer science teacher.
