Derek A. Houston, University of Oklahoma

Derek A. Houston, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Adult and Higher Education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Houston earned his doctorate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Educational Policy, Organization, and Leadership. Centered at the nexus of critical theory and quantitative methods, Dr. Houston engages with policy questions relative to resource inequality across the P-20 education pipeline, advocating for a socially just future.
