Author Biography

Ivet Parra-Gaete, Arizona State University

Ivet Parra-Gaete, M.Ed, is currently a PhD student in Educational Policy and Evaluation at Arizona State University (ASU). She was employed as a director for a U.S. Department of State initiative in two research universities in Chile between 2007 and 2015. She led projects and events involving Education, Sciences, and International Affairs, and created spaces for English language learning and advising for students to study in the United States. Ms. Parra-Gaete earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Journalism in Chile. Her present research interests focus on higher education institutions, and comparative and international education, with an emphasis on higher education systems, institutions, and policies.
