Scott D. Farver, Michigan State University

Scott D. Farver is a doctoral student in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education in the College of Education at Michigan State University. Scott was a high school German teacher before joining the US Peace Corps with his wife, Erin. While serving as a volunteer in the Philippines (2006-08), he co-taught English and helped organize teacher trainings with his local counterparts. Scott also taught fourth and fifth grade near the Navajo Nation. His current research focuses on issues of race and critical multiculturalism for pre-service teachers.
