Dennis J. Kirchen, Dominican University

Dennis J. Kirchen, Ed.D. is a Professor of Early Childhood Education and Director of Early Childhood Education Programs at Dominican University, River Forest, IL. Prior to his career in higher education, he taught children aged birth through fourth grade in both public and private schools. His current areas of interest include psychosocial development, pedagogy of children’s play, drama for children, and historical foundations of early childhood education.
