Andrene Castro, The University of Texas at Austin

Andrene Jones-Castro is Ph.D. student in the Education Policy and Planning Program in the Department of Educational Administration at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include teacher preparation and development, community school models, and race and the African Diaspora. She holds a master’s in Urban Education and African Diaspora Studies from Florida International University and a bachelor’s in English education from University of South Florida.
