Biografia do Autor

Jennifer B. Ayscue, University of California, Los Angeles

Jennifer B. Ayscue is a doctoral candidate in the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at University of California, Los Angeles and a research associate at The Civil Rights Project/Proyecto Derechos Civiles. Her research interests focus on desegregation in K-12 schools and the role of policy in shaping students’ access to diverse learning environments and equitable educational opportunities. Before attending UCLA, Ayscue earned an M.A. in Social Sciences in Education from Stanford University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She taught elementary school in East Palo Alto, California and Charlotte, North Carolina.
