Gene V Glass, Arizona State University

Gene V Glass is a Regents’ Professor Emeritus at Arizona State University and Lecturer in the Connie Lurie College of Education, San José University. He is a former President of the American Educational Research Association and a recipient of its Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education Award.

David C. Berliner, Arizona State University

David C. Berliner is a Regents’ Professor Emeritus at Arizona State University. His most recent book, with Gene V Glass, is 50 Myths & Lies that Threaten America's Public Schools: The Real Crisis in Education (2014, Teachers College Press). He is a former President of the American Educational Research Association and a recipient of its Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education Award. He is a member of the National Academy of Education. His 1996 publication with Bruce J. Biddle, The Manufactured Crisis, is widely regarded as one of the most influential books on education policy of the last 50 years.
