Margaret Mbindyo, Millersville University

Margaret Mbindyo, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Academic Advisement and Student Development at Millersville University. She is also the advisement coordinator of McComsey Center for Academic Advisement and Student Success, which supports students in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the College of Business. Dr. Mbindyo’s areas of research include the academic resilience and academic persistence and success of low-income/first generation and immigrant students and transformational leadership in academic advising.
