Author Biography

Samantha Y. Harris, University of California Santa Barbara

Samantha Y. Harris is a PhD candidate in education at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). Her research focuses on improving pedagogy for multilingual students from immigrant backgrounds, particularly those designated as English learners and heritage language learners. She currently works as an instructor for the School Kids Investigating Language in Life and Society Program (SKILLS) at UCSB.
