This review highlights the book’s significance for contemporary discussions of immigrant justice, school climate, belonging, and equity-centered school design, with particular attention to sanctuary as both a policy orientation and a set of educational practices for immigrant-impacted students. This timely and consequential volume will be of interest to scholars, teacher educators, and school leaders concerned with educational equity and immigrant-origin youth.
